South Sudan launches population estimation survey – Eyeradio / Sudans Post / UNFPA / Radio Community / XinhuaNet

The government of South Sudan on Thursday launched the first ever Population Estimation Survey exercise since independence in 2011. The survey is expected to be accomplished within a month to present an alternative figure for the delivery and planning of services, election and response to disaster while laying the foundation for the national census.
