Technology Behind GRID3 Program Helps Eradicate Wild Polio in Nigeria

Nigeria is now free of wild polio. On June 21, the African Regional Certification Commission, an independent advisory body of the World Health Organization, certified that the country eradicated the disease. The innovative techniques that enabled this achievement are the same as those used in GRID3, a program that is helping to include the world’s most vulnerable populations in development plans that advance health, food security, education, and more.
